We carried out the visual and technical renewal of the beautyalasara.fi website. The focus was on clarifying the product and service search to improve the customer experience. Beauty à la Sara is a beauty salon in Turku, specializing in filler treatments as well as beauty-related training. The company's services also include more traditional treatments, from eyelash extensions to sugaring.
From Creating the Graphic Identity to Implementing the Website
The renewal of the website started with the design of the graphic identity, forming the foundation for the brand of Beauty à la Sara. The existing logo was retained, and around it, a color scheme, fonts, other graphic elements, and illustrations were chosen. The visual identity was summarized in a graphic guideline that acts as a guide for all visual design.
Based on the new look, a mock-up of the website was created, combining a cohesive and appealing brand image with a user-friendly interface. From the design and concept phase, we proceeded to implement a modern and easy-to-use website that showcases the company’s wide range of services and facilitates easy booking. The project also included photographing the company's services and facilities, adding authentic and engaging content to the website.
A Comprehensive Service Directory to Enhance the Customer Experience
The core part of the new website is a comprehensive service directory designed to improve the customer experience. Enhancing this function emerged as an essential step during the initial phase of our collaboration when we conducted market research and clarified productization for Beauty à la Sara. A user-friendly, categorized, and visualized service offering would stand out from competitors and lower the threshold for purchasing services.
The new service directory now makes finding services quick and effortless. The structure of the directory also facilitates comparing service prices and durations, which enhances the buying experience.
